When shopping for vintage clothing there are a few tips I must give you.
First, give yourself some time. Shopping for vintage clothing is mission. Most thrift stores’ have racks and racks of stuff; and it is your job to search, because you never know what’s hiding behind that Liberache-esque vest.
Second, Be creative. Think of the latest trends you’ve seen in magazines, or the last outfit you saw that you loved but just didn’t quite work for you. Use things like this to map out your search for stylish duds.
Third, don’t be afraid! Vintage is about expression, and when your going for it, go all he way. Step out of the box, and own it.
The best thing about wearing vintage clothing, is having control over your clothes. Sometimes, things just don’t fit how their supposed to. By making yourself the manikin, you become the designer and the outfit your wearing, is tailor made for you by you. So take a chance, be smart, shop smart, and dress smart.
